to join us for a breakfast seminar with Norges Bank Investment Management

The Norwegian Oil Fund

The Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, Norway’s “Oil Fund” is famously the world’s
largest sovereign wealth fund. Recently, the fund topped $1tn in assets for the first time, and
made headlines for its plans to advance responsible investment practices related to climate
change. The Norwegian Central Bank’s asset management unit – Norges Bank Investment
Management (“NBIM”) – manages the fund.

During this exclusive event, the Global Head of Special Mandates at NBIM, Sigmund Kyrdalen,
will discuss the organization of NBIM and the management of the fund.

Breakfast will be served from 8 am, followed by a presentation by Kyrdalen at 9 am.

Sigmund Kyrdalen

Sigmund Kyrdalen is currently Global Head of Special Mandates and Head of the Singapore Office at Norges Bank Investment
Management (“Oljefondet”). He is overseeing a number of specialised investment teams covering environmental investments, Chinese investments and REITs.

Sigmund joined NBIM in 2003, and before taking up his current role he was a Senior Portfolio Manager investing in the Consumer sector. Prior to joining NBIM, Sigmund was an equity analyst at Citigroup and previously worked as a consultant at Accenture and with ship financing at Nordea. He has a BA from Clark University and an MBA from University of Michigan.
